Hi, I’m Tarushi, and I’m the entire staff here. Writer, editor, publisher, social media manager, and chief overthinker of headlines. CineFile is a one-woman show, and the show has opinions.

I’ve spent years writing about entertainment for other websites: film reviews, episode recaps, news, and more listicles than I’d like to admit. I even led a team of interns, which taught me patience and how to say “please check the spelling” in forty different ways. With a Bachelor’s in English Literature and a Master’s in Mass Communication & Journalism, I’ve spent a good chunk of my life analysing stories, so I finally ran out of excuses and built my own corner of the internet.

Here you’ll find movie and series reviews, book reviews, and entertainment news from around the world. My promises: honest opinions, a dash of humour, and spoiler warnings when I can’t help myself. I will tell you if that ending made no sense. I will also tell you if the book was better, because it usually is.
